My VMware Explore 2023 Barcelona week kicked off with a Partner Technical Leadership Forum at the Fira.
The first session was VMware Generative AI Strategy with Robbie Jerrom, Principal Solutions Engineer, who provided a great overview of what VMware is doing in the AI space, and how VMware Private AI can help enterprises manage AI in an properly architected manner, in their own environments.

Next up was Martin Hosken, Chief Technologist Cloud EMEA with a session on Multi-Cloud, and beyond, looking at current trends, especially the trend of repatriation from the hyperscalers.

Theresa Thompson, Staff Technical Marketing Architect had a very good session on VCF Holodeck, going through what it is, how it should be used and what scenarios and use cases it covers.
The last session was a partner specific panel with Scott Berquist, Senior Director Ecosystem Solutions and Alex Matthews, Senior Director, Solution Engineering, Partners & Digital, with a Q&A section at the end.

The entire session was under NDA, so I can’t get into specifics, but it was time very well spent. Kudos to the team behind it, like Linda Smith, who I know had to reshuffle the entire agenda due to external factors.
