VMUG Denmark put on the (northern European?) VMUG event of the year on the 20th and 21st of September; Tech X 300. It was held at the beautiful Nordisk Film Biografer Palads cinema in Copenhagen, which offers great rooms for the presentations, along with huge screens. I think the largest one was over 12 meters wide!
This september, VMUG Denmark is hosting TechX 300: The ultimate technical summit for enthusiasts seeking a deep dive into VMware solutions, and I am lucky enough to have been selected as a speaker! My talk is called Down the Rabbit Hole with VMware Aria Automation Config (SaltStack), which should be a lot of fun. Expect live demos!
Hot on the heels of VMworld Europe 2018, Veeam is hosting its annual virtual conference on december 5th. Just like last year, I will be part of the panel in the Expert Lounge!
VMUG Denmark yet again is arranging the Nordic VMUG Conference, this time in Copenhagen on January 31st 2019. The agenda is still a work in progress, and is not finalized, but I’ll be there!

As usual the speaker lineup for the event is awesome, with a lot of the usual suspects like Duncan Epping (VMware), Cormac Hogan (VMware), Lee Dilworth (VMware), and Frank Denneman (VMware), but VMware is also showing it’s commitment to VMUG by sending some non-europeans as well, like Grant Orchard and_ Mike Foley_. This, coupled with “local” speakers like Michael Ryom, Nicolai Sandager and Marteinn Sigurdsson this promises to be every bit as awesome as the event was last year.
